Subaru FORESTER SG9 EJ25(TURBO) 25 Row Oil Cooler Kit + HKS Filter, 04/02->07/11

Fitting an additional oil cooler to an engine helps to prolong engine life and reliability by maintaining optimal oil operating temperature. To ensure the oil doesn’t lose its lubricating properties, it needs to be kept under 145 degrees C.
This kit is supplied with 4-metres of AN-10 black nylon braided hose. We prefer this to the stainless braided hose because it’s easier to work with and does less damage if it rubs against anything on the vehicle. This is supplied with a 25-row cooler which is 25cm x 19.5cm x 5cm in dimensions. The 25 row is the largest cooler we have and is great for highly modified vehicles which require lots of additional cooling. If you want to upgrade further, we also have shrouds with fans to force the air through the cooler, these can be especially good for drift cars.Supplied with this is a sandwich plate that fits under the oil filter on the engine. This diverts the oil through the cooler and spaces the filter around 20mm further out, so check that you have clearance here. On the sandwich plate are 2 x 1/8 NPT ports which can be used for turbo oil feeds or gauge sensors if required. There are 6 x AN-10 fittings with this kit. 2 x Straight, 2 x 45 Degree, 2 x 90 Degree, they are all the stronger forged type fittings and are anodized black. You will only require 4 of the 6 fittings, choose the ones that work best for you. With this plate 100% of the oil is constantly fed through the cooler, which makes it ideal for track cars.This kit is supplied with a HKS oil filter. HKS are a long-established Japanese tuner who’s work, and product quality are excellent. This HKS filter features a magnet inside to help catch any metal particles in the oil and an anti-drainback valve. Coupled with advanced high flow filtration there probably isn’t a better filter on the market.This kit fits the Subaru FORESTER SG9 EJ25(TURBO) with years 04/02->07/11.These kits are not supplied with the mounting hardware to attach them to the vehicle. You will need to identify the best mounting location on your vehicle and fabricate the brackets to fit.
