This black aluminium cover is the earlier BMW six-cylinder version associated with OE reference 11121432928. It is used across selected M52TU and early M54 applications and is supplied with a gasket set, allowing the cover and its main seal to be renewed together.

Design details
The casting reproduces the mounting, ignition and breather layout for this cover version in a rigid aluminium body.
On the car
It replaces a tired or damaged plastic cover and leaves the top of the engine with a tidy, durable finish.
Fitment notes
Match OE reference 11121432928 and compare the complete PCV and breather arrangement, oil-filler position, coil layout and electrical connections. On M54 cars, this is generally the early cover used up to approximately September 2002.
Important: M52TU and M54 covers can look very similar while using different external connections. The physical layout must match the original.
