The sandwich plate takes the oil feed and return from the engine's oil-filter mounting point. Thermostatic control helps the oil reach operating temperature before directing full cooling flow through the core. As an SKO-3 kit, it does not include the vehicle-specific brackets needed to mount the cooler to the car.</p><h3>On the car</h3><p>The 25-row core adds dedicated heat-exchanger area for hard road, track and drift use, while the thermostatic arrangement helps avoid unnecessary cooling during warm-up and lower-load driving.</p><h3>Fitment notes</h3><p>Listed for Toyota MR2 models with the 3S-GTE engine, production dates 89/10 to 99/09.
