As an SKO-3 kit, it does not include the vehicle-specific brackets needed to mount the cooler to the car.

On the car

The 25-row core provides the largest cooling area in this kit family for demanding sustained-load use where sufficient space and airflow are available. Thermostatic control helps reduce unnecessary cooling during warm-up and lower-load driving.

Fitment notes

Catalogued for Mazda MX5 Mk2.5 BP-VE, covering 00/08->05/07. Confirm the exact engine, oil-filter interface, sealing face, centre-spigot engagement and available installation clearance before fitting. Plan the cooler position and hose route before cutting and assembling the hose. SKO-3 kits do not include the brackets required to mount the cooler to the car; select a suitable airflow position and fabricate or source secure mounting brackets. The oil-filter thread is not yet confirmed; verify the exact engine-side interface before ordering.

Important: Check every BOM item against the supplied kit before installation. Keep hoses clear of exhaust heat, sharp edges and moving parts; prime the oil circuit, pressure-test it, verify oil pressure and check for leaks before driving. Mount the cooler securely and check clearance to bodywork, airflow paths and surrounding components before use.

A 25-row thermostatic sandwich-plate oil-cooler kit for Mazda MX5 Mk2.5 BP-VE, supplied with the exact components listed above.
