As an SKO-3 kit, it does not include the vehicle-specific brackets needed to mount the cooler to the car.

On the car

The compact 16-row core adds dedicated heat-exchanger area while keeping the package manageable where installation space is limited. This non-thermostatic configuration routes oil through the cooler whenever the engine is running.

Fitment notes

Catalogued for Mazda MX5 Mk4 PE-VPR, covering 16/12->. Confirm the exact engine, oil-filter interface, sealing face, centre-spigot engagement and available installation clearance before fitting. Choose a secure, accessible remote-filter position and plan the hose route before cutting and assembling the hose. SKO-3 kits do not include the brackets required to mount the cooler to the car; select a suitable airflow position and fabricate or source secure mounting brackets. The oil-filter thread is not yet confirmed; verify the exact engine-side interface before ordering.

Important: Check every BOM item against the supplied kit before installation. Keep hoses clear of exhaust heat, sharp edges and moving parts; prime the oil circuit, pressure-test it, verify oil pressure and check for leaks before driving. Monitor oil temperature and avoid over-cooling during cold or low-load use. Mount the cooler securely and check clearance to bodywork, airflow paths and surrounding components before use.

A 16-row remote-filter relocation oil-cooler kit for Mazda MX5 Mk4 PE-VPR, supplied with the exact components listed above.
