Description
Replacement up-pipe for the Subaru Impreza WRX with the EJ20/25 engine
The Malian turbo up-pipe / link pipe joins the exhaust manifold to the turbo. It’s approx a foot in length.
The original Subaru pipe has a flexi part in the middle which usually deteriorates after a period of time causing exhaust gas leaks and loss of boost. The HKS pipe is a complete stainless steel pipe with no flexi.
Support pipe kits improve exhaust efficiency between the manifold and turbo charger and by changing the support pipe it will produce output gains across the rpm range but has particular benefit in boost spooling.
Fits turbo cars made after 2002, with the twin-scroll inlet BV37 turbo. Can also be used on the earlier cars, if you want to convert to the twin-scroll turbo you will need to change the downpipe at the same time to match the turbo.
This part will increase power especially at higher RPM where the gases are able to flow better.
Comes complete with everything you can see in the picture.
