Once most oil gets over 300 degrees F it begins to loose it’s lubricating properties, this causes excessive engine wear and will eventually lead to engine failure. This cooler will help to prevent this problem. This cooler features a thermostatic valve making it ideal for road use.

With varying modifications to vehicles it is recommended that you have enough space to get the sandwich plate under the oil filter and the space to get the two fittings in. There are 6 fittings supplied but you will only require 4, supplying more than required just gives that extra flexibility when it comes to fitting.

With 4m of black nylon braided hose supplied in the kit that can be cut to length this is suitable for even the most complex installs, you will need a angle grinder or similar with a cutting disc to cut the hose to the desired length. If you have not fitted the aeroquip type fittings before it is probably a good idea to watch a Youtube video or two before attempting to fit them to the hose.

There are many different places that an oil cooler can be mounted so we do not supply brackets to mount the cooler to the car, you will need to make these.
