BMW E46 2.5, 2.8, 3.0 Tubular Stainless Race Exhaust Manifold 01-06, RHD only
This exhaust manifold fits the E46 chassis BMWs with the M54 6 cylinder engines as a direct bolt-on part.
In the 2024 design revision we have changed the flange to allow this manifold to fit the M52 and the M54.
The 2024 design revision has improved the clearance to avoid the steering shaft but are still tight due to the nature of the area these manifold fit within, if your engine mounts are old and worn the manifold might touch; in which case you either need to fit a skinny steering shaft or replace the engine mounts.
Please note some of the E46s have uprated engine mounts as standard – again, you would need to change your mounts in order for this manifold to fit correctly.
These do not fit cars with automatic gearboxes. If you have an auto you would need to modify the part to clear the gearbox.
Dual 3-into-1 design for optimum street performance, where the exhaust meets the OEM system the pipes are 2″ ID.
Estimated power gains from 10 – 30 BHP depending on other supporting mods.
We have a picture of the manifold wrapped with exhaust heat wrap, wrapping the manifold helps to keep under bonnet temps down and also can protect the manifold from thermal shock.
The whole manifold has been TIG welded so the chances of this ever failing are virtually zero.
