MINI Cooper S R52 SECA Fast Road Trackday Wide Bucket Seats 02-08

Vehicle-Specific Barbarian Racing Seat Package for MINI Cooper S R52 02-08

About the MINI R52 Cooper S Fitment

The R52 Cooper S combines the compact first-generation MINI chassis with an open-top body, making seating position and upper-seat clearance particularly important. A well-sized performance seat can improve support while keeping the driving position usable on the road.

Cabin and installation notes: Check lower width against the tunnel and door, and pay particular attention to upper-seat and head-restraint clearance around the convertible interior and roof mechanism. A reclining seat is generally the more flexible option where everyday access and adjustment matter.

Seat Model and Specification

SECA Wide Fixed-Back Fibreglass Bucket Seat

The Barbarian Racing SECA is a roomier fixed-back option for drivers who want strong lateral support without the close fit of the narrower shells. Its 51cm lower width, 55cm shoulder width and 62cm maximum upper width make it one of the more generous fixed-back seats in the range.

Why choose the SECA? It suits larger drivers, or anyone who finds the HELL, DRUID or ASCARI too restrictive, while retaining a conventional open bucket-seat shape rather than the more enclosed head-restraint profile of the TOGE or 130R.
