Performance Oil Cooler Kit, 10 Row Mocal Style Cooler, -10AN Size

This cooler kit is ideal for cars that have been tuned and are used for fast road.

Once most oil gets over 300 degrees F it begins to loose it’s lubricating properties, this causes excessive engine wear and will eventually lead to engine failure. This cooler will help to prevent this problem. This cooler does not feature a thermostat and overcooling oil can also cause problems so it is best practice to fit an oil temp gauge to be sure, the sandwich plate in this kit has 2 x 1/8″ NPT ports which allows you to fit oil temp or/and oil pressure gauges. Blanking plugs are supplied if required.

This kit will fit nearly any engine which uses a M20 x 1.5 spin on type oil filter. The compatibility table above is there as a guide only and it is recommended that you check that your car has a M20 x 1.5 thread filter and that there is space around the filter to get the sandwich plate in and attach the fittings.

The kit comes complete with a HKS oil filter to make sure you get the best filtration possible.

There is 2.5m of stainless steel braided hose supplied with the kit that can be cut to length, you will need a angle grinder or similar with a cutting disc to cut the hose to the desired length. If you have not fitted the aeroquip type fittings before it is probably a good idea to watch a Youtube video or two before attempting to fit them to the hose.
