MINI Cooper S JCW R53 130R Fast Road Trackday Head Support Bucket Seats 02-08

Vehicle-Specific Barbarian Racing Seat Package for MINI Cooper S/JCW R53 02-08

About the MINI R53 Cooper S / JCW Fitment

The R53 is a popular fast-road and track MINI, and a more supportive seat works particularly well with the car’s compact, responsive chassis. The Barbarian package supplies the chosen seat together with the MINI-specific mounting arrangement as one complete setup.

Cabin and installation notes: Seat width needs careful consideration in the R53, especially with wider shells. Check tunnel, door and B-pillar clearance. Fixed-back seats suit more focused builds, while reclining seats are more practical if rear-seat access remains important.

Seat Model and Specification

130R Wide Head-Support Fixed-Back Fibreglass Bucket Seat

The Barbarian Racing 130R combines a generous lower seating area with a high, wrap-around head-restraint design. At 54cm across the lower shell and 61cm at its widest upper point, it gives substantially more room around the hips and thighs than the compact DRUID, ASCARI or MINA designs.

Why choose the 130R? It suits drivers who want the visual and upper-body character of a more enclosed track-style seat but need more lower-body room than the narrower shells provide. The black performance-weave trim gives it a technical, modern finish.
